Development: - Developed by Rockstar Leeds, in conjunction with series creator Rockstar North.

- US Release: March 17th, 2009
- UK Release: March 20th, 2009
Graphics: The graphics are much different than all previous GTA games. The angle of the camera gives the environment a 3D effect, but from a top-down perspective. All elements of the environment are cel-shaded so that everything has a black border to help identify individual objects.
Setting: The game's LIberty City is replicated from Grand Theft Auto IV's Liberty City except for a few changes. Alderney is not included. The other boroughs (Dukes, Broker, Algonquin, and Bohan) are slightly scaled down. Weather and day to night effects are fully integrated.
